VODOHOSPODÁRSKA VÝSTAVBA, Š.P. – RECONSTRUCTION OF CANAL LOCKS CONTROL AND CONSTRUCTION OF MECHANICAL ROOM OF HYDRAULIC STA-TIONS IN CANAL LOCKS SVD G-N, LEVEL GABČÍKOVO

The subject of this job was industrial work of huge importance for safe operation of shipping on Danube. It consisted of proposal, design, manufacture, implementation and putting into operation of two new hydraulic machinery rooms to assure reliable operation of locks inlet and outlet including new high-pressure pipelines and consequent reconstruction of controls / inlet and outlet drives. The Work consisted of civil part– namely construction of two buildings of machinery rooms, mechanical part– namely whole specially designed technology of efficient hydraulic aggregates, oil economy, including storage and tapping station.

A part of this was also design and manufacture of special pressurized lids assuring tightness of internal cavities at locks after disassembly of the original technology. The Work also consisted of electric and I&C part – namely complete development and manufacture of automatics to control technologies, new heavy current and weak current switchboards and distributions, including implementation into the central control system of the waterwork.
